Classima Lady
Conceived in 2005 as a men’s range, over the course of the following years Classima has also become a collection for women, one that greatly reflects women’s desires. Women, as it happens, prefer watches that are generally round and have a quartz or a mechanical automatic movement. They appreciate the subtle use of diamonds in indexes or on bezels. Naturally mother-of-pearl dials also appeal to them. If a watch is endowed with a refined bracelet it soon has the feel of jewellery about it. On the other hand, the attraction of a strap, provided it can be easily and swiftly changed, is its transformative quality.
Classima Lady offers all of this wedded with steel cases in various sizes – 27, 31, 34 and 36 mm – or with a rose-gold 31-mm case. The dial, where refined hands meet Roman numerals, is highly sophisticated featuring a subtle date display at position 3. The models with a moon phase display, usually located in the dial’s upper half are very romantic.

The straps, coming in a host of voguish colours such as blue, red and purple, can be easily and quickly changed without having to visit a watchmaker and without any need for special tools. Simply use your nail to press the small lever on the spring bar, this loosens the tension between the case’s two lugs. The strap clips loose and can thus be replaced by another one with a colour more suited to your current outfit.
