The Formula 1 collection was conceived in 1987, originally only for less expensive quartz models which were distinguished by their often extravagant colourfulness. Then in 2012 it underwent a radical revamp, as the collection did not include any watches with a mechanical movement. Over recent years, however, it has matured into its current sophisticated look. Today, rare limited editions such as Formula 1 x Mario Kart with a tourbillon inspired by the famous Super Mario character from Nintendo games also appear under this line.

The Formula 1 Calibre 5 is the embodiment of elegant sport watches. It is entirely able to endure the challenging conditions of a Formula 1 race while at the same time perfectly suitable for everyday wear. Complementing the forceful appearance of this watch, which features a black PVD-coated 41 mm case, a massive dial and a unidirectional rotating bezel, is its distinctive crown. Also much-favoured are the more accessibly-priced quartz chronographs such as the Reference CAZ1010.FT8024.
