Star Legacy
The Star Legacy collection is Montblanc’s return to the roots of the watchmaking craft and to the high aesthetic codes of the pocket watches created at the Minerva manufacture in Villeret at the turn of the 20th century. It is no wonder that this elegant collection attracts attention as it has unconventional and highly sophisticated complications such as the monopusher chronograph and is the perfect choice for those Montblanc fans who are looking for a unique timepiece.
The collection includes beautiful models that have been lovingly crafted for both men and women in a selection of sizes ranging from small 32 mm watches in stainless steel or pink gold to the exceptional 43 mm Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph.

Something more…
Nicolas Rieussec, a Watchmaker to King Louis XVIII, had a number of his inventions patented, among them a chronograph with a seconds indicator. The return to some of Rieussec’s inventions and combining them with contemporary knowledge once again allows Montblanc to push the borders of the watchmaking craft even further in the 21st century.
Collection highlight
Among the collection highlights is the Star Legacy Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph, a monopusher chronograph which is a homage to the famous watchmaker. The timepiece warrants attention due, in part, to the size of its silver case (44.8 mm) but mainly because of its striking dial design combining silver and dark blue hands. An unusual chronograph can be found at the bottom part of the dial. It isn’t equipped with a pair of hands, as you’d expect, instead it has two rotating horizontally aligned discs. The timepiece is powered by an in-house MB R200 calibre with an excellent 72-hour power reserve.
