The Link collection is a direct descendent from the sporty TAG Heuer S/EL. Launched in 1987, the watch was TAG Heuer’s firm rebuff to the seemingly unstoppable onslaught of digital quartz watches on the market and it proved much more successful than the replies that came from other traditional watch brands. The sporty, favourably priced and yet extremely elegant model broke sales records throughout the 1990s becoming the foundation of TAG Heuer’s now iconic collection of formal watches.
