The collection was brought onto the market in 1992 and shares its name with the watch test the company introduced at around the same time. By testing all its timepieces for chronometric precision over the course of six weeks (1,000 hours), Jaeger-LeCoultre checks the movement’s accuracy and its resistance to water, vibrations and temperature variations. The manufacture strictly adheres to this demanding testing process to this day.
