Superocean
In 1957 Willy Breitling, the then owner and director of the brand, presented the SuperOcean diver’s watch. After conquering the sky (Navitimer) and the land (Premier) the Swiss watchmaker from St. Imier went on to master the depths of the ocean. Today the brand even has two model ranges drawing from this iconic 1950s model – the Superocean and the Superocean Heritage.
At present, SuperOcean is now a purely diving collection with watches resistant to up to 300 meters of water column. The line has been redesigned for 2022 and we see models for women with a 36 mm case diameter and for men with sizes 42, 44, 46 mm. All models are powered by automatic movements and are available on a steel tension, rubber or fabric NATO strap, Outerknown Econyl, made ecologically from the waste (fishing nets) left on the ocean floor by fishermen.
