Ventura
What renders the Ventura watch iconic? Not merely the fact that at the time of its launch it happened to be the very first electronic watch powered by a battery but also because of its idiosyncratic design by Richard Arbid featuring a triangular case that makes it stand out from other watches that are usually round. The story of the Ventura will, however, always be connected to rock’n’roll legend Elvis Presley who took a fancy to the watch whilst shooting the musical Blue Hawaii in 1961.
Suiting both men and women, the Ventura comes in a variety of sizes and styles such as the masculine and sporty Elvis80 Auto models with black PVD coating and a rubber strap or a more subtle, elegantly designed Ventura model with, for example, a gilded PVD case. Other trendy models in the collection that should be mentioned are watches in true denim or triangular watches with a flexible metal bracelet.

Something more…
How did this watch make it on Elvis Presley’s wrist? The story goes that the singer simply fell for it and that as a result it appeared in the musical. This was not thanks to a paid collaboration or product-placement but purely to love at first sight. Elvis is said to have also gifted Ventura watches to his close friends.
