Yacht Club line has a new, unusual addition in terms of horology complications: an indicator of the tide. The gold 44.6 mm case features an automatic IWC-manufactured movement with a power reserve of 60 hours and a Pellaton automatic winding system. The timepiece is water-resistant to 60 m and has a see-through sapphire-glass back. The tide indication function needs to be adjusted in place with the tide; once this is done the watch can tell you when to expect low and high water. The double moon phase indicator for the southern and northern hemisphere has an integrated display of neap and spring tide, occurring at the first-quarter moon and third-quarter moon and new moon and full moon, respectively.
